So I haven't blogged in awhile, ok well 20 months or so.... I think I'll try and blog more often, however from previous experience that may not happen. Anyhow....... here are some cards I made in recent weeks.

I was inspired to make these cards after sitting beside this very talented lady at a crop, and from whom I shamelessly lifted this idea, www.lbeescrafts.blogspot.com thanks Linda xx

This crop cost me a fortune, because I 'had' to buy the stamps that Linda was using; the Hero Arts Envelope stamp and monsters set!

This card was a last minute one, whereby I had NOTHING in the house I could give to a little girl for her 6th birthday. I used the pink cardstock underneath forever friends heart vellum, I then coloured a gorjuss girl stamp and had her sit on some ribbon.

And finally, a friend's son made his communion and despite owning more stamps than I'll ever need in my lifetime, I do not own an appropriate stamp for this occasion. In addition to this I didn't want to give money, so I looked online and found this tutorial on youtube www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FXoDtw6WCE, and this is my take on it.

I used red bassil cardstock and docrafts krate paper, penny black stamp and Sandylion Essentials stickers.

So, I will try and remember that I set this up!! TFL

Tom and Jerry

My eldest comes out with some of the funniest things, and I always promise myself that I'll write them down but never do. Today I decided to change that fact. What happened today... My DH and I were in the kitchen kissing and my eldest son walked in. DS looked at us and laughed, turned to me and said. DS: 'you are a kissy girl with lipstick on'. Me: really? DS: 'yes, kiss him again, and daddy will have hearts in his eyes' I feel he may be watching too many episodes of Tom and Jerry!

Few hours out!!

I got to drop down to Whitehall this evening, I went to collect a kit I had ordered from Annamarie, but really it was an excuse to get out, meet up with everyone and have a chat over a cup of tea and some homebaking! C had his immunisations today, was a bit out of sorts afterwards, not his chilled laid back little self. Was a bit anxious leaving him this evening, but he was fed and changed and given calpol all before i went so he was left in the capable hands of his dad. Thankfully he was asleep before I had even reached the Workshop and I could probably have been able to do the class, but unfortunately you just can't be guaranteed that things would go to plan at the moment. The class looked like a good one aswell, I cool gatefold book. Ahh well maybe next time. Linda (LB) gave me a lovely birthday card, I love her cards they are always gorgeous. Must post up a photo of it. Knackered now, it's late for me to still be awake, but sometimes I just need to wind down before sleeping, make me feel like my life at the moment is more than just laundry, nappies, feeds, oh did I mention laundry!! Amazing how just the addition of one other person, and a little one at that can increase the amount of laundry! That's all for now. Night. K
