is messy! How I hate the cutting out stage of sewing. I would quite happily buy all pre cut materials if I could. That's not possible when you're making the pattern from scratch though!

What wonderful weather
This is a picture of Croke park (in the distance), the stadium where our national games are played.. Passing it today, I felt the need to pull over and take a photo.. As you can see it's slap bang in the middle of houses in the middle of Dublin north side.

Giant man et al
About two Christmases ago my youngest son got these figurines from Santa, and Every night since they have gone to bed with him. during the night they manage to make their way into the bed! Needless to say that there are many nights when my son wakes up sore as he's lying on one or more of them!
In addition to this, they usually end up on the floor and I'm left to crawl under the bed in search of the offending jumper. (this has been known to happen in the early hours of the morning) Ahhhhhhh
So, every morning when making the beds there is usually a hunt for a man or four!
These are the things I don't want to forget, I want to remember to keep these men when he no longer plays with them.
What a wonderful day :)
The weather was fab today and with the clocks 'springing' forward it was bright until late. Todays picture is of my foot and my sons head, taken from the top of the climbing frame at the local playground at around 7pm..... Far too late for my boys to be up, but they had a ball!!

The missed photo
Since I missed posting a photo the other day I decided to post a second one today.. It's a photo of the first bag I ever made.
Appliqué....... My first attempt!
I've missed a day since I started the picture a day.... My excuse is that I've been sick, so and well I still am. I still managed to make it to Sewing class this week, and made a cover for my sewing machine with some appliqué. I'm very happy with the cover and the appliqué, and we'll I think it 's cute :)

Mother's Day
It was Mother's Day on Sundays and I had a wonderful day. The boys gave me beautiful bracelets they chose by themselves. They were so cute giving them to me.. God I love those kids! I Spent a fantastic night in the Brooklodge hotel what a beautiful place :) Back to work tomorrow after eight weeks off....... Ahhhhhhh!!!
I've decided to take a photo every day for a year, just like project life but I'm going to post them on here instead of a paper version...... Let's see if I actually keep it up.!!
